  There are only a few places that specialize in brown sugar milk drinks. What sets this store apart from others is the aesthetic of the drinks and store. It's so Instagram worthy!
  I don't like tapioca ballbut this is pretty much the only place where I actually enjoy it! The boba is very chewy and goes well with the milk and brown sugar for a super refreshing.
  The cons of this store are primarily due to the price & size. The brown sugar creme brûlée drink is $6 and only comes in one small size (pint size water bottle). I've had multiple friends tell me they order 2 for themselves in order to satisfy their cravings

  My friend and I decided to try this place after seeing so many of our friends come here. I know that their mainly known for their Brown Sugar Milk drink however, The milk series does not have Tea in it and I would prefer drinks with tea inside instead of drinking just sugary milk.
  
  I liked the display of the menu and I decided to order The Alley Assam Milk Tea half sweet, less ice w/ boba thinking that their boba was pretty popular here because of all the pictures posted. My friend just got the Royal Milk Tea. I asked a question about what size cups they offered but the workers had a hard time understanding me so I ended up just pointing to the nearest size I saw which was the Large. They were really kind and helpful though.
  
  Drinks came out quickly and once I tasted the Assam I noticed the boba was not as chewy and soft as I would have liked it. It was not stale but it did not taste as fresh and was kind of hard. I don't know if they cook their boba with brown sugar but I am a huge fan of brown sugar boba however, I did not really like the boba. The drink itself was decent, nothing too special. The royal milk tea was unique tasting and it kind of reminded me of some gummy bear fruity taste, but I wouldn't order it myself.
  
  The place was cute and trendy but not one I would come back too. Drinks were decent and I was disappointed with their boba. I also asked for less ice but they still gave me a lot of ice so it ended up melting and watering down my milk tea pretty quickly.

  The boba here is very chewy ! I love it I got the brown sugar derrioca w/ soy milk. As a lactose intolerant person, I thank you for accommodating people who couldn't resist milk tea !
  I got less sugar and honestly, it was good, great mixture.
  It is a bit more pricey than most boba shops but for the quality it was worth the price honestly.

  Aesthetics is definitely what makes this little shop so popular. I'll admit that it's what attracted me here in the first place. The ambience is appealing, while the drinks are presented beautifully in cute cups. For most of them, I think it's better to shake well before drinking. Note that the Brown Sugar Deerioca series consists of fresh milk drinks, NOT milk teas.
  
  Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brûlée Milk: Very little creme brûlée flavor. Tastes mostly like milk, which is expected because it is fresh milk and not a milk tea. Even after mixing in the brown sugar, it's not a very sweet drink. I like that the boba is already included. I enjoyed the boba, which was really soft and tasty, and adds some sweetness.
  
  Morning Dawn: This comes in a plastic bottle that you can reuse. It felt cheap and there's nothing special about it, so I just threw the bottle away. The drink has too much ice! More than half the bottle was ice. There was barely anything to drink. It is essentially just a mango slush, while the other drink from the Aurora Series (Northern Lights) is a grapefruit slush. When I ordered this, the cashier said it would take 20 minutes, but it was ready in about 12 minutes.
  
  Because they gave me a stamp card, I would still cone back for the boba, regardless of the higher than average prices. I would not order the Aurora Series again, which are the most expensive drinks on the menu. In short, you are paying more for the aesthetics than the actual quality of the drink. As long as it's not too crowded, the place is good for sitting inside and chatting.

  Came on a weeknight since my friend raves about this place. He said that The Alley was popular internationally. We got the most popular drink, brown sugar milk tea with boba.
  
  We ordered 3 of them for our whole party and total came out to $18. Which is pretty pricey to me. On top of that, the cups were relatively small.
  
  We began to drink, and the boba is nice and sweet. However, you did not taste any tea in the "milk tea." It tasted like plain whole milk.
  
  The Alley should work on their mixture to have more tea it. Not sure if I'll be back.
